Our librarian was telling me about you! I am a teacher and two of our classes (grades 4 -6) are going to be involved in a writing project in partnership with Rocky View Schools and Canadian Geographic, where we will get to make our own magazine. I was looking for a “hook” to start this project off and thought having an author, like yourself, come in and inspire and motivate our students would be exciting. Our idea for the magazine is to share the “Stories of Westbrook” and look at how the people, places and things shape our community and our identity. It is a work in progress at the moment, but this is our starting point. Can you let me know what you may be able to offer our students? What cost would we be looking at? I thought you would like to know you misspelled the word “Vermillion”. Silly mistakes are a pet peeve of mine and they can ruin your website’s credibility. In the past I’ve used a tool like SpellingScan.com to keep mistakes off my website.
